We are looking for a Senior Backend and Data Developer to work close to our Data Science group and bring to life the strength of our algorithms. REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Excellent communication skills

  • 5+ years of professional server development experience using Java or similar object oriented language

  • Strong understanding of web-based architecture - web servers, load balancing, caching, databases, replication, etc

  • Experience in NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase)

  • Experience developing data driven web applications in Java

  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development, including Amazon AWS eco-system / Google GAE

  • Experience building and using RESTful APIs

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
